KITCHEN BITS COOKING CLASSES
SPRING 2012

Shrimply Delicious – Tuesday May 1st                                                  6:00-8:30         $65
If you like shrimp, you are going to love this class!  We will take a global tour with exotic Thai Shrimp Soup, Spicy Latin American Shrimp Tacos, delicious New Orleans BBQ Shrimp and last but not least, the Ultimate Shrimp Cocktail.  Instructor: Kyle Paden

Mother’s Day Cake Decorating –Tuesday  May 8th                           6:30-8:30         $65
Learn to ice and decorate a fabulous 6” cake for your Mom this Mother’s Day. Choose between a chocolate, vanilla or a red velvet cake from Crumbz Bakery and learn the secrets to decorating it using fondant and buttercream icings and various decorating techniques.  Tools required for class:  piping set  Instructor:  Cindy Babcock

Perfect Risotto – Wednesday May 9th                                                  6:00-8:30         $65
There are a couple of secrets to a successful risotto, but once you know them you can make this one of your signature dishes.  First, a Wild Mushroom Risotto, using both fresh and dried exotic mushrooms, the flavours are hearty and earthy.  Then, a decadent Lobster Risotto, all you need is one small fresh lobster to make a dish with big flavour, this will knock your socks off!  Instructor: Kyle Paden 

Pizza, Flatbread & Focaccia – Tuesday May 15th                               6:00-8:30         $55
I will teach you one basic recipe that will allow you to make a pizza, focaccia or flatbread that will make you the best Italian baker on your block: Focaccia with Rosemary and Sea Salt, Flatbread with Goat Cheese and Olives and my newest White Pizza with Italian Sausage and Rapini. Instructor: Kyle Paden 

Sensational Summer Salads – Tuesday May 29th                                 6:00-8:30         $65
We all need new ideas for side dishes to go with the grilled meat and fish we cook all summer and all of these are fast and full of flavour.  Cous Cous Salad, Greek Orzo Salad, Mediterranean Rice and Lentil Salad and an Avocado Black Bean Salsa are just some of the delicious salads we will make.  Instructor: Kyle Paden
